OPEN CALL for 2025 AHL Alumni Exhibition
The AHLumni Collective is excited to announce an open call for AHL alumni artists to showcase their work in a prestigious exhibition at the AHL Foundation gallery in 2025.
The AHLumni Collective, a voluntary group within the AHL Foundation alumni, aims to foster a supportive community and empower alumni artists by promoting the exchange of ideas, offering resources, and providing opportunities for collaboration and exhibitions. The collective is always open to any alumni interested in joining and participating in our monthly meetings.
Eligibility:
Open to all AHL alumni artists.
Awards:
  • Solo or Group Exhibition: Selected artist(s) will have the opportunity to curate a solo or group exhibition at the AHL Foundation gallery.
  • $5,000 Stipend: This stipend will cover exhibition expenses, including event attendance, artwork delivery, installation, and deinstallation.
Submission Guidelines:
Please submit the following materials electronically to ahlalumni2024@gmail.com by October 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST:
  1. Project Proposal (500 words max): Describe the exhibition concept (solo or group), including the theme, vision, and curatorial ideas.
  2. Artist Portfolio (5-10 images or video links): Showcase the strongest and most relevant artwork of the artist(s).
  3. Artist Statement: Provide a statement for the participating artist(s).
  4. Artist Résumé: Briefly highlight the artistic background and achievements of the artist(s).
Selection Process:
A review committee composed of representatives of the AHL Foundation and AHLumni Collective will review all submissions. The project that best aligns with the exhibition’s vision will be selected. The artist (s) will be notified by October 15, 2024. We encourage all eligible artists to apply and share their talent with the AHL community.
Please Note:
The $5,000 stipend is intended to cover exhibition-related expenses and does not fund the production of new artwork.
