AHL Foundation, in collaboration with Korean American Contemporary Art LTD. is pleased to present Color of Life, a five-person photography exhibition at the Bank of Hope Woodside Branch from September 26, 2019, through December 26, 2019.
This exhibition features fifteen color landscape photographs of the Korean-American artists Kee Woo Rhee, Nam Chun Cho, Joo Suk Kwon, Keum Cha Kim, Chong Tae Kim, all members of Korean American Contemporary Art LTD.
The selected landscape images display unique styles that reflect each artist’s distinct sentiments by presenting various tones of colors in each frame of artwork. The scenes of photographs were captured along with the artists’ aesthetic experiences in nature on their individual journeys of life.
The show is part of AHL Foundation’s Art in the Workplace program, which aims to present contemporary artworks outside of a gallery setting in a public space for the purpose of bringing art into everyday life and increasing its exposure to the public. Color of Life will be open to the public on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bank of Hope Woodside branch, 50-15 Roosevelt Avenue until December 26, 2019. The opening reception will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
