AHL Foundation organizes a group visit to 3 exhibitions in 3 galleries in Chelsea. The first stop is Stering Ruby at Hauser & Wirth – Ruby’s art speaks in a language inspired by sub-cultural phenomena ranging from graffiti, urban gangs, and prison systems, to craft and the history of quilt-making.
The second stop is a Group Show, No Problem: Cologne/ New York 1984-1989 at David Zwirner – This exhibition proposes an examination of this dialogue by focusing on the international artists who showed in both New York and Cologne between 1984 and 1989 and the key gallery and museum exhibitions of the period that took place in both cities.
The third and the last stop is Ken Price at Mattew Marks- This is the first exhibition devoted solely to Price’s large sculptures, many of which are being shown here publicly for the first time.
*This visit will be guided by Sun You, an artist who has exhibited her work in galleries and museums internationally, venues include Seoul Art Center, Kunstlerhause Schloss Balmoral, the Korean Cultural Center New York.
