The AHL Foundation is pleased to announce its eighth Annual Visual Arts Competition Exhibition, Casting Memories, featuring works by this year’s first winner, Sung Rok Choi, and six other artists chosen by distinguished jurors Linda Norden and Joel Carreiro.
Casting Memories presents photography, sculpture, painting, and site-specific installations by up-and-coming artists of Korean origin. Highlighting their common element of memory, the show assembles seven distinctly personal life experiences, styles, and media choices as the artists explore childhood, home, family, national history, ideal beauty, and imaginary worlds of fantasies and dreams.
