AHL Foundation established the AHL-AKAA Ran Hwang Fund in 2022 with the help and support of Korean artist Ran Hwang.

About

In September 2022, AHL Foundation launched the AKAA Consultant Fund in collaboration with sculptural artist Ran Hwang. This funding will enable AKAA (The Archive of Korean Artists in America) to bring in expertise to enhance our goals of collecting and preserving crucial archival materials of artists of Korean heritage working in the United States. Ran Hwang, the first winner of AHL Foundation’s Visual Art Award in 2004, has been instrumental in supporting this initiative.
