AHL – Grace Charity Foundation Research Fellowship Winner
The AHL (Art, Humanity, and Love) Foundation is excited to announce the 2015 winner of the AHL-Grace Charity Foundation Research Fellowship. Ms. Juyoung Yoo has been chosen as our inaugural Research Fellow. Yoo graduated from Seoul National University and she is pursing an Ed.D. at Teachers College, Columbia University Majoring in Art and Art Education. Yoo is a museum educator and leads public, school and senior group tours at the Noguchi Museum, Education Department, Long Island City.
The one-year Research Fellowship is awarded to a young-in-career art historian or curator with an interest in researching artists of Korean heritage and their activities. The Research Fellow will be expected to devote their time researching, identifying, and working with artists for inclusion in the Archive of Korean Artist in America (AKAA). AKAA was established in 2013 to bolster the AHL Foundation’s mission to support and recognize the accomplishments of talented Korean artists working in the United States.
