2023 AHL Art Fair Open Call for Artists

AHL Foundation is pleased to announce an open call to promising emerging and mid-career artists to participate in the 2023 AHL ART FAIR. All presented artist works featured in the fair will have an opportunity to exhibit and sell works. We are seeking applicants working in all visual arts media including but not limited to: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. All works must be priced at $500 and below for consideration.
Call for Artists:
- Dates: December 7, 2023 – December 16, 2023
- Opening Reception: Thursday, December 7, 2023, 6-8 PM
- Venue: AHL Foundation Gallery (2605 Frederick Douglass Blvd., #C1, New York, NY 10030)
Guidelines:
- There is no application fee to apply.
- For consideration, all artists must submit their works no later than November 21, 2023 by 11:59 EST. All late submissions will not be accepted.
- Application package must include, application form include: application form, CV, artist statement, and 1-2 images of proposed artwork. Limit 2 works per artist.
- All artwork must be priced at $500 or under.
- Artists are responsible for the delivery, installation, and deinstallation of their work. *Installation dates: December 5, 2023 – December 6, 2023
- All selected artists must participate in the opening reception.
- The commission on sales will be split between the artist (70%) and the AHL Foundation (30%). All profits from works will directly support the AHL Foundation’s 2024 programming.
